Qualifications
This initiative is rooted in intergenerational community-building, all ages are welcome!
If you’re a youth, must be a Kabangka member.
Must be between 16-30 years old.
Declare primary residence in Canada.
Identify as Filipino/a/x.
Prior Experience is preferable but not required.
Strong leadership and organizational skills.
Excellent communication and people skills.
Responsibilities
Responsible for supporting the Director of Communications in creating content for social media through marketing tools.
Responsible in assisting with research to contribute content for social media campaign.
Work closely with the Kabangka teams on communications and social media platforms.

Support in creating, leading, and coordinating the conference’s external engagement strategy.
Support in coordinating stakeholder relations through engaging and liaising local, provincial and nationwide community organizations, members and partnerships, and other external parties.

Responsible for supporting the conference budget and ensuring that any income and expenses are accounted for.
Responsible for the financial health of the conference.
Work closely with Sponsorships Lead to obtain financial and in-kind donations.
Support Kabangka’s Treasurer.

Support in creating and coordinating the conference’s logistics planning and programming.
Support the in-person coordination of logistics and programming during the conference (requires in-person participation in Toronto).
Work closely with the Kabangka teams on smooth communication regarding logistics and programming.
